For our European business, we are looking for a proactive and motivated Executive Assistant with a positive attitude to join our dynamic team in Cologne. This role involves providing high-level administrative support to the Co-Head and Managing Director of Jamestown Europe. In addition to the classic assistant tasks, you will also take on smaller projects and ensure that our office is a welcoming place for both the team and our guests.
This role is initially fixed for a duration of two years, with the possibility of a permanent employment.

The job will require a diverse skill set. Main responsibilities, include:
- Manage and organize the executive's complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and travel expenses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare/edit agendas, documents, presentations and distribute before meetings.
- Assist with corporate projects, including steering workstreams and ensuring on-time delivery.
Office Management Tasks:
- Ensuring the office is always well maintained, representative and inviting for our guests and employees.
- Manage occasional orders for team breakfasts/lunches and office snacks.
- Planning of corporate events and team activities.
- Able to take ownership of the executives' tasks and responsibilities, thinking ahead and knowing the answer before the question is asked.
- Unparalleled self-management and time management skills, along with a strong sense of service and an eye for detail.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism and reliability in all tasks.
- Cooperative team player, providing coverage and support for other Executive Assistants as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Education: Academic Degree. Alternatively, any combination of education, training and experience provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Work Experience: Minimum of five years of work experience on executive level in a professional and fast-paced work environment, ideally within private equity.
- Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication in English and German.
- Work in a modern office in the heart of Cologne, with a rooftop terrace and views of the Cathedral.
