To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Technical Service Manager Africa (French Speaking). You should live near Hamburg or Frankfurt to visit on of our Nipro offices.

The Technical Service Manager French Speaking Africa fulfils a supervisory role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities of the technical services department for the territory of Western and French Speaking Africa. The main objective of this role is the professional implementation of technical services activities and customer requests within the scope of the agreements / contracts.


  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with various departments and stakeholders
  • Lead and support a team of technical service engineers
  • Manage the functional structure of the technical service department
  • Plan, implement, and execute machine installations after the project phase
  • Ensure effective use of our products and services in the field
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors in the region
  • Establish and enforce team policies, procedures, and customer service standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team and Customer Service to continuously improve product and service quality
  • Support other business areas in their growth and strategic initiatives

Professional Experience & Knowledge

  • Several years of experience in medical technology
  • Ideally, expertise in renal care and related areas such as water treatment systems
  • Initial leadership experience in managing employees and teams
  • Willingness to travel within the region (50%)

Language & Communication

  • Business fluent in French and English
  • Strong communication skills and a goal-oriented mindset
  • Open-minded and collaborative personality

Technical & Practical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid car driver's license
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong quality awareness
  • Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in one of the following fields:
    • Technical or natural sciences
    • Biomedical engineering
    • Refrigeration
    • General engineering
    • Or equivalent professional experience
