AES Aerospace Embedded Solutions GmbH is a Munich-based joint venture between Safran Electronics & Defense and MTU Aero Engines, both worldwide leaders in their sector. Main tasks:
- Supporting development engineers in programming a security chip (µC) in close collaboration with FPGA team
- Development of a demonstrator (PC) for the security chip
- Setting up and using an evaluation board for the security chip
- Deployment of state-of-the-art security algorithms and application to various use cases
Other tasks:
- Supporting development engineers in programming software tools
- Supporting development engineers in configuring/updating existing tools
- Transferring data (e.g. from Excel to Doors)
Required skills:
- Ongoing studies in in the field of software engineering, information technology or a comparable degree program
- Technical interest and analytical thinking
- Good knowledge and experience in C programming
- Good understanding of microcontroller architecture
- Interest in hands-on, low-level embedded SW development and FPGA development
- Structured, collaborative and responsible way of working
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Optional skills:
- Knowledge of security algorithms, secure boot and secure storage
- Knowledge of additional or more programming languages: Python, Java
- Knowledge of software development methods
