Bringing the Group's global thought leadership to the world, they ensure that BCG expertise and studies are placed in the right channel at the right time and continuously develop our communications and marketing strategy.


Your work as a highly motivated Marketing & Communications (M&C) Junior Specialist Central Europe (CE) will focus on global and local flagship campaigns and practice area topics. As a member of our CE M&C Strategy & Campaigns team, you'll support the development of campaign strategies for all topic areas and ensure effective activation and orchestration of global marketing content in the Central European region – working from either our Munich or Düsseldorf office. You'll lay the foundation for our 360° campaigns in close consultation with local campaign owners, the CE M&C Leadership Team, and global M&C teams. Finally, in addition to supporting our campaign activities, you will use the experience you gain to contribute to the continuous development of our campaigning capabilities, actively supporting the expansion of our data-driven marketing approaches and advancing the cross-functional way we address topics.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:
  • Supporting the conceptualization and implementation of content and planning activation for our annually adjusted strategic positioning priorities, including topic and messaging development, activation planning, implementation responsibility, and performance measurement
  • Communicating and building awareness across our CE markets, with a focus on Germany, using a 360° approach across all internal and external channels and detailing the guidelines, communication framework, and timelines for suitable channels
  • Laying the foundation for creating and interpreting thought leadership content and editorials in collaboration with subject matter experts and practice group teams while leveraging existing BCG knowledge
  • Conducting analyses and various benchmarkings in close collaboration with our Marketing Intelligence team to determine the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Providing holistic support to our campaign owners for the systematic and ongoing development of cross-functional marketing and communication activities and strategic activation

YOU'LL WORK WITH

As part of the Strategy & Campaigns team, you'll report directly to the Strategy & Campaigns Co-Lead. Your team is part of the broader CE Marketing & Communications team and works closely with the CE Leadership Team and our global Marketing & Communications teams. You and your team will collaborate with teams from various departments throughout the company, as well as with function leaders such as Managing Directors and Partners, Marketing Directors, and other colleagues in BCG's Marketing function.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)

  • You have completed an academic degree with a major in marketing or communications.
  • You have gathered initial relevant professional experience in the course of your studies.
  • You are familiar with all common business and MS Office tools and have experience using them for professional communications work.
  • Your written and spoken English and German language skills are excellent.
  • You work in a structured and organized way and always have an eye on timelines and deliverables.
