Please note: We are open to filling this position either on a permanent basis or as an interim assignment, depending on the candidate's availability and preferences.

In this multifaceted role, you will serve as a crucial link between business units and IT, ensuring that technological solutions align with organizational goals and deliver value. You will be responsible for understanding, capturing, and translating business requirements into actionable IT initiatives, managing demand, and fostering strong partnerships across departments. Your expertise will drive project success, optimize processes, and shape the company's digital journey. In Detail you will take responsibility for:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the IT department, fostering strong, trust-based relationships
  • Identifying, gathering, and analyzing business requirements to ensure IT solutions are aligned with organizational needs and strategic goals
  • Managing the IT demand pipeline by capturing new initiatives, prioritizing them, and aligning requests with available resources and skills
  • Facilitating workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather comprehensive requirements and clarify business expectations
  • Translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications in close collaboration with solution architects, developers, and project managers
  • Tracking the progress of ongoing IT projects and regularly communicating updates, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with defined quality standards
  • Supporting change management activities such as training, communication, and promoting user adoption
  • Driving continuous improvement of demand management, requirements engineering, and relationship management practices
  • Staying informed about business processes, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in both business and IT domains

You are a great match for this role if you bring a strong understanding of the interface between business and IT, enjoy turning complex requirements into impactful solutions, and combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Extensive and proven experience in a comparable role, such as Project Manager, Solution Architect, IT Demand Manager, Requirements Engineer, or Business Relationship Manager – experience in other relevant areas is also valued
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, business processes, and digital transformation concepts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, combined with a collaborative and business-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in gathering and structuring requirements, including the use of process modeling and documentation standards
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing needs and expectations
  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, with great attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
