Electronics Engineer for Medical Robotics in Oberkochen, Germany.

We are seeking an Electronics engineer to join our forward-thinking team. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge electronic systems for our state-of-the-art medical robotic solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of groundbreaking technologies that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.

  • Lead the electronic design of electronics, prioritizing performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturability

  • Work closely with mechatronics and mechanical engineers, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration into the robotic system

  • Define and analyze electronics requirements based on product specifications and regulatory standards, translating them into robust design solutions

  • Research and select electronic components that meet system requirements and align with the technology roadmap

  • Oversee electronic hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout, and prototype testing

  • Identify potential design risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and test plans, to support product development and regulatory submissions

  • Stay updated on advancements in electronics and medical robotics, applying relevant technologies to enhance product performance

  • Efficiently manage project timelines, budgets, and resources of electronics, ensuring successful project completion and stakeholder satisfaction


  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field

  • Several years proven experience in electronics design and development, preferably in medical device or robotics industries

  • Strong proficiency in electronic design tools, simulation software, and PCB design tools.

  • Expertise in sensor integration, analog and digital circuit design, power management, and signal processing and cabling

  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards applicable to medical devices, such as IEC 60601

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges and optimize designs for performance and reliability

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems is a plus

  • Fluency in English and German
