Join our innovative Test System Development team, a vital part of our R&D organization. We are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge test systems used globally in R&D and Production. These systems are crucial in delivering state-of-the-art products. We are looking to bolster our team with a software developer expert who thrives in a Lean and Agile environment. Our cross-functional development teams focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Senior Software Developer
- Develop and maintain our globally used test software in C++, including controlling high-frequency measuring devices via GPIB, LAN, and USB, and storing measurement results in databases for future evaluations
- Develop new software to interface with emerging test hardware
- Continuously analyze requirements and perform necessary adjustments
- Drive product and process improvements
- Design and oversee the architecture of complex software for test systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and secure
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for the software development process
- Drive Interface requirements and definition to other software components from other departments
- Master´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related qualification
- 3+ years of experience in software development with C++ or C#
- Expertise in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with DevOps practices, pipeline handling, and continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CD)
- Basic understanding of radio frequency technology is a plus
- Team collaboration skills, with high social competence
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and time management abilities
- Structured, result-oriented work approach
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- German is a plus
