With a fleet of 308 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity of 2.4 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity of 3.7 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 17,100 employees and more than 400 offices in 140 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a transport volume of 12.5 million TEU per year. A total of 135 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 21 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.Support the management team with daily tasks, such as:
- Processing user requests
- Assisting with time posting control and monitoring
- Preparing reports on SAP-related activities
Assist with administrative tasks, including:
- Coordinating and preparing materials for budget planning, forecasting, invoice verification, preparation of monthly accruals
- Supporting the preparation of presentations for departmental meetings
- Assisting with the approval process for Purchase Requests
Provide general administrative support, such as:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and OKRs
- Assisting with special projects and tasks
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of our SAP system, including its configuration and functionality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
- You are curious about new topics, perspectives, and people and you enjoy one of the mentioned topics, preferably with initial practical insights
- You work independently in an agile environment and interdisciplinary team
- Basic knowledge of SAP systems (or willingness to learn) and IT affinity
- You have strong organizational and time management skills
- You have very good German and good English language skills
- You have a secure handling of MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Communication strength, confident appearance, and high social competence
Nice to have
- Previous experience with SAP systems or other ERP systems
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
- Basic understanding of business processes and operations
