Junior Strategy Manager (m/f/d)


  • The Junior Strategy Manager supports the Strategy Team in its responsibilities and day to day activities. Approximately 50% of the tasks will be ESG-related. The daily tasks will include the following:
  • Review, monitor and maintain the business and ESG strategy as well as create new strategies in line with the Lloyds Bank GmbH Strategy Process
  • Research and prepare relevant data for market, competition and trend analyses (focus on growth opportunities, ESG topics and the legal, political and economic landscape)
  • Collect, prepare and present various data for ESG reporting, especially for scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of ESG KPIs and targets in alignment with the bank's sustainability goals and regulatory requirements
  • Create high quality presentations and documentations for the Strategy team, the Head of Strategy and the management team as well as other key stakeholders of the business
  • Support proposals for projects or products and their delivery
  • Work closely with various departments, such as Finance, Marketing and Risk, and build strong, collaborative working relationship

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, finance, sustainability sciences, data & analytics or similar
  • Good understanding of banking products. Initial work experience or relevant internships in the financial sector, in data & analytics or in the field of sustainability would be an advantage
  • Analytical and strategic thinking and strong interest in data management
  • Structured and methodically sound way of working
  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German or Dutch
