Role is based in Munich, with flexible home office policy.
This includes:
- Evaluating fund and co-investment opportunities through initial screenings.
- Active participation in fund due diligence processes, including onsite meetings.
- Supporting co-investment analyses, including scenario modelling as well as key metric sensitivity analyses.
- Managing internal investment processes and preparing investment committee materials for both fund and co-investment processes.
- Engaging with buyout GPs, maintaining market maps (by regions and sectors), and update internal databases and pipelines.
- Monitoring responsibility for part of the portfolio that includes attending AGMs across Europe and North America, holding periodic update calls with GPs, preparing quarterly write-ups as well as developing bi-annual cashflow forecasts.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and investor engagements.
Your qualification
- You hold a completed Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- First hands-on experience in Private Equity, Co-Investments, or Investment Banking – through internships, analyst programs, or full-time roles.
- Proven financial modelling skills, especially LBO modelling – ideally from real-world deals or deal simulations.
- Strong interest in fund & co-investment strategies – and the curiosity to stay ahead of market developments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
