Marketing Director DACH (f|m|d)


As our Marketing Director DACH, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our coffee business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Together with the General Manager and DACH leadership team; you will be accountable for achieving revenue targets and elevating the performance of a high-impact marketing team. This role requires a visionary leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and will adapt and implement our global brand strategies locally, own the full coffee P&L, lead market share growth, manage the A&P budget, and develop a high-performing team.

As our Marketing Director DACH your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Adapt and implement the global marketing strategy at local level and ensure its effective execution
  • Lead the local strategic development in DACH for our coffee categories and brands to achieve and exceed business goals in revenue, gross profit, and market share
  • Manage the operational marketing plan, covering brand activations, portfolio management, and innovations aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the consumer insights, consumer marketing and media team
  • Develop market and consumer insights through constant monitoring of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors
  • Bring the Jacobs brand to life across channels (retail, OOH, e-commerce)
  • Contributing to the success of our commercial leadership team
  • Manage partnerships with appliance companies and contribute to the local brand storytelling
  • Embody our mindset: to be the best coffee company for every brand we represent
  • Build, inspire, and develop a strong local marketing team as well as our global marketing teams

Must have

  • Retail experience is essential – you understand the dynamics of the fast-paced DACH retail environment
  • You bring solid background in FMCG, ideally in food or beverage categories with solid category management expertise
  • You have been responsible in global as well as local marketing roles
  • You have strong leadership experience, with at least 8 years in people management
  • You feel a personal or professional connection to the Jacobs brand – as a fan, a consumer, or through past experience
  • You have a proven track record of driving change and growth in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Out-of-Home (OoH) experience– knowledge of the foodservice or on-the-go coffee sector is a benefit
  • Sales experience is a plus – ideally, you've worked In key account management, shoppermarketing or RGM function
