Join the ZEISS Innovation Hub Dresden to shape together with us the future of biomedicine. Located close to the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden, we are turning today's research into tomorrow's applications – together with academic partners, students, and entrepreneurs. We are currently looking for a student (internship and/or thesis) to support our project with a novel imaging approach. Ideally, we would like to accompany your academic endeavors for a full year: 6 months internship + 6 months thesis. If you join us, you will develop our microscopic optical coherence tomography setup with us and explore its applications in biomedical imaging. You will develop algorithms and ideas to improve reconstruction and enhance the yield of information from it.

Ideally, have some experience working in an optics lab

Have some experience with the Python programming language (or are proficient in another programming language and open to learn Python)
