Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG (MBM) is the financial and mobility services division of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We offer our customers services for cars and vans in the areas of financing, leasing, and insurance. In addition, in our capacity as the financing and mobility division, we enable Mercedes-Benz customers to use vehicles flexibly by means of rental and subscription models, fleet management, and digital services for charging and payment.
Our department, the Finance Operation Markets, is responsible for the preparation and reporting of MBM consolidated IFRS financial statements. You will find a diverse and international team of experienced and highly skilled professionals supporting more than 40 entities in many countries around the world, developing MBM-specific accounting guidelines, and participating actively in accounting-related projects. The department strives continuously towards more digital and agile financial reporting processes via automation and advanced analytics.

Your main tasks are to support:
The preparation and review of Financial Statements for the MBM Division in accordance with IFRS and Mercedes-Benz Group requirements
Analyzing the financial reporting of MBM subsidiaries and ensuring Mercedes-Benz Group deadlines
The accuracy and timeliness of reporting and presentations
Documentation of processes and workflows
Special projects (e.g., lease classification analysis)
Meeting preparation and follow ups (agenda, minutes, etc.)
Organizing meetings / workshops / trainings
Preparing and collecting commentaries for variances analyses
Cooperation with the Controlling and Risk Department
The Intern can start working from October 2025.
Ideally, you qualify for this job with:
An enrolled student (Bachelor/Master) of Business Administration with focus on International Accounting or Auditing, Economics, or similar degree program
Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Fluent English is required, and German basic knowledge is mandatory
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Structured, independent working and affinity for dealing with numbers
A strong team player with excellent communication skills, a quick learner with analytical and conceptual skills, reliable and committed to providing high quality work
Open-minded and agile culture supporter, customer-oriented and willing to work in an international and global environment
