AROUNDTOWN Commercial Properties (ATCP) is the asset management platform for Aroundtown SA, the largest listed commercial real estate company in Germany. ATCP acts as owner representative thus managing, leasing and optimising the commercial real estate portfolio, which, in addition to typical office properties, also includes industrial, logistics and retail properties.   • Process mapping and visualization: Work closely with various departments to thoroughly map out existing internal processes, visualizing them clearly using tools like Visio to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Opportunity identification: Analyze mapped processes to pinpoint strategic opportunities where AI tools and solutions can significantly enhance efficiency, accuracy, or productivity.
  • AI tool screening and evaluation: Continuously research and screen a wide range of AI tools and technologies, evaluating their potential fit and benefits for our specific internal process needs.
  • Solution implementation with external partners: Collaborate with external service providers and vendors to define, develop, and implement chosen AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) management: Oversee and monitor AI Proofs of Concept, tracking performance, gathering feedback, and assessing their viability for broader deployment.
  • Stakeholder communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for AI-related projects, ensuring clear and consistent communication with all internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Basic AI governance: Apply a foundational understanding of AI governance principles, including data privacy, ethics, and compliance, throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proven project management experience: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from conception to completion, preferably in a technology or process improvement context.
  • Process analysis & visualization skills: Strong ability to analyze, document, and visualize business processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar.
  • Exposure to AI concepts: A strong interest in and basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies and their potential business applications.
  • Fluent in German and English: Capable of conducting meetings, managing projects, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders in both languages.
  • Experience with build-or-buy decisions: Demonstrated ability to evaluate whether to develop solutions internally or acquire them from external vendors, weighing the pros and cons of each approach.
  • Vendor management experience: Experience working with and managing external service providers and vendors to deliver technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus across diverse teams and with external partners.
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude: Capable of breaking down complex problems, identifying root causes, and proposing effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Organizational skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Basic understanding of AI governance: Familiarity with key concepts in AI ethics, data security, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Educational background: A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
