  • Take full responsibility for the develop­ment of our cyber­tronic products, typi­cally com­prising one or more electric actuators, electronics, mechanical structures, software, and harnesses
  • Supervise and coordi­nate all engineering activities required for product development, qualification, and industrial manu­facturing
  • Lead system engineering efforts for inte­grated mechanism pro­ducts, ensuring per­formance and compliance across subsystems
  • Define and manage system-level per­formance budgets (e.g. mass, power, thermal)
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documen­tation, including design descriptions, development schedules, and test specifications
  • Support product testing and qualifi­cation processes from prototype to flight-ready hardware
  • Contribute to the Simultaneous Engi­neering process by colla­borating with industrial process engi­neering teams to scale production

  • University degree (or equivalent) in engi­neering, aero­space, mecha­tronics, or a rela­ted technical field
  • Professional expe­rience in mecha­nism or actuator development
  • Industry experience in the space sec­tor, parti­cularly with space mechanisms and electro­mechanical actu­ators
  • Proficiency in working with tech­nical require­ments, inclu­ding authoring, reviewing, and inter­preting specifi­cations
  • Strong conceptual thinking and analy­tical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multi­disciplinary teams
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Bonus qualifications:

  • Familiarity with numeri­cal engi­neering tools used for structural, thermal, or motion analysis
  • Initial experience in tech­nical leader­ship or coordination roles
  • Knowledge of material selec­tion and manu­facturing pro­cesses suitable for space applications
  • Profound understanding of the full engi­neering workflow required to design, develop, and qualify space-grade actuators and electronics
  • Extensive professional experience in mecha­nism or actuator development
