As a Tech Leader (m/f/d) at auxmoney, you will join one of our cross-functional product teams and take a central role in shaping the future of our platform. Together with engineers, Product Managers and business stakeholders, you will build software that delivers real impact for both the company and our users.

What you can expect:

  • Lead with impact: You will guide a motivated team of engineers, enabling them to deliver high-quality software while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Shape the product: Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate ideas into scalable, user-focused solutions. Your input will influence both product and architecture.
  • Drive technical direction: Set engineering standards, make architectural decisions and align your team's work with broader company goals and technical strategies.
  • Code with purpose: Stay hands-on by writing clean, maintainable code in a modern object-oriented environment. Our core stack includes PHP with Symfony, but we value solid OOP experience over specific languages.
  • Grow your team: Mentor and support individual development through code reviews, pair programming and regular feedback sessions.
  • Work with modern infrastructure: You will build and run services in an AWS-based environment using cloud-native tools and modern DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to engineering culture: Help shape how we build software at auxmoney by contributing to internal best practices, tooling and technical communities of practice.


  • Leadership mindset: You have experience leading engineering teams or acting as a senior developer who takes initiative, guides others and brings out the best in your teammates.
  • Strong technical foundation: You are confident in at least one object-oriented language such as PHP, Java or C# and understand how to design scalable, maintainable systems.
  • Cloud experience: You are familiar with cloud-native development and have experience designing and operating services in a cloud environment (preferably AWS).
  • Product focus: You think beyond code. You care about solving real user problems, creating value, and building software that fits business goals.
  • Excellent communication: You collaborate well with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders. You can explain complex ideas clearly and give constructive feedback.
  • Team-first attitude: You foster a positive, inclusive team culture where everyone feels heard and supported.
  • Nice to have: Experience with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka is a plus, but not a must.
