In your position, you will be responsible for leading international customer projects in the field of large CMMs. Together with the customers and all necessary internal stakeholders at ZEISS, you will coordinate for example the installation of new ZEISS MMZ machines at the customer site.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • managing all internal and external project stakeholders

  • managing the collaboration with the customers

  • accountability for budget and timelines of the projects

  • regular reporting and maintenance of project data

  • close alignment and collaboration with Product Management

  • contributing to internal improvement projects


  • completed technical degree in the field of mechanical engineering or similar

  • several years of professional experience in managing complex customer projects

  • strong experience in (plant) engineering, automation, maintenance & repair or similar

  • strong communication, teamwork and conflict management skills, especially in large companies

  • high initiative, willingness to take responsibility, and the ability to successfully implement changes as well as quickly familiarize oneself with new complex topics

  • structured, independent working style

  • proficient in MS Office as well as ERP and CRM systems

  • fluent in English, both spoken and written; German is a plus

  • willingness to travel for international assignments
