Purpose of Role
The Business Services department at BU Germany contributes to the effectiveness of our operating business in Germany. The Business Services group aims to support leadership across the BU in business administration and management matters, including contract management, performance management, and external relations. Business Services is looking for a motivated team player to support the department in these areas while familiarizing themselves with versatile responsibilities within BU Germany and developing an active network. In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Business Services, handling the described responsibilities, accountabilities, and competencies.
Area of Accountability, Responsibility & Competence
- Manage the Customer Relationship Management Tool of the BU
- Manage the HSE educational tool E-Plas for the Business Services department
- Process, respond to, and coordinate statistical inquiries from the BVEG, Federal Statistical Office, and mining authorities in consultation with the respective departments
- Manage the BergPass tool and approval planning together with the departments, including participation in the BergPass 2.0 association workgroup
- Support purchase processes (e.g., purchase requisitions)
- Support Stakeholder, Contract, Quality and Facilities Management
- Collaborate closely with the team in concept development
- Develop, coordinate, and compile documents for department/group overarching topics, decision papers, and department/group presentations
- Participate in global initiatives, projects, and requests under supervision
- Serve as the IMS Manager for the department
- Focal point for travel management in BU Germany
Skills, Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Production Engineering, Geosciences, Economics, Engineering or similar
- First experience in in the German oil & gas industry
- Eagerness and interest to learn from experienced personnel and the willingness to familiarize with new topics
- Open minded personality with strong interpersonal skills to build up a network within the company
