The Global Head of Life Sciences Center of Excellence (CoE) will lead and oversee all aspects of our Life Sciences practice, driving innovation, excellence, and growth across our global Life Science operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in SAP solutions for the Life Sciences industry, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, delivery, and practice development teams worldwide. This role reports directly to the VP, Global Head of Business Development.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
■ Strategize and Innovate: Craft and implement a visionary global strategy for the Life Sciences CoE, driving forward-thinking innovation in SAP solutions
■ Lead with Impact: Manage strategic partnerships with SAP SE and other key stakeholders, establishing best practices and standards across regions
■ Empower and Educate: Develop and sustain a comprehensive global Life Sciences Knowledge Portal, offering premier training, methodologies, and presales materials
■ Engage and Represent: Formulate and oversee a dynamic global Life Sciences event strategy, ensuring impactful participation in key industry events
■ Collaborate and Succeed: Partner with regional and global sales teams to pinpoint and capitalize on strategic opportunities, bringing executive presence to pivotal client meetings
■ Ensure Quality: Uphold high standards of delivery quality across all Life Sciences projects, implementing rigorous quality assurance frameworks and providing strategic support
■ Inspire and Lead: Guide a global team of industry and solution experts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
■ Think Strategically: Exhibit a strategic and commercial mindset, staying ahead of market trends and driving energetic initiatives
■ Hands-on Mentality: Develop the global Life Sciences strategy with a hands-on approach
■ Supportive and Cooperative: Be supportive to and cooperative with a variety of local organizations and countries
■ Optimize Methodology: Actively spread the use and lead ongoing optimization of the global methodology (our USP)
■ Extensive Experience: 15+ years in IT consulting, with at least 10 years in the Life Sciences industry
■ SAP Expertise: Deep experience with SAP solutions and implementations in the Life Sciences sector
■ Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and leading global practices or centers of excellence
■ Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Life Sciences industry trends, regulations, and business processes
■ Team Collaboration: A collaborative virtual leader, adept at working with different cultures and fostering teamwork
■ Sales Acumen: Experience in complex solution sales and strategic account management
■ Global Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills across cultural and organizations
■ Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 40% internationally to support global operations and key client engagements
