IT Security Analyst (m/f/d)

The IT Security Analyst enables the bank to run IT services in a secure manner by deriving and implementing effective IT security controls to ensure the availability, the integrity and confidentiality of services and data. As an IT Security Analyst you will be ensuring that IT solutions and services are designed, implemented and run in compliance with the bank's Security policies and standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements, specifically the MaRisk and BAIT. This role supports the resource planning and effective effort distribution.


  • Derive effective IT Security controls from the LBG IT Security Policy for Lloyds Bank GmbH, relevant regulations (s.a. BAIT) and best practices (s.a. BSI technical standards)
  • Define the standard deliverables to document IT Security standard compliance
  • Support the bank's BCM by performing BIAs/BCAs of the business processes
  • Document adherence to the relevant standard in an auditable manner
  • Develop and refine the IT Security controls calendar (as part of the IT governance and compliance calendar)
    • Monitoring and reporting on the IT Security controls effectiveness
    • Document the effectiveness of the IT Security controls in an auditable manner
    • Identify gaps or non-compliances to the relevant IT Security standards
  • create and deliver Security Design documentation for projects and programmes
  • Assess the criticality of business processes and derive necessary continuity plans
  • Assess external partners with regards to their adherence to required IT security standards
  • Support the resource planning and effective effort distribution within the IT Security team
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance (where applicable within Systems & Digital)

  • Educated to “Fachinformatiker” or similar IT related areas
  • Proven expertise and work experience within Information or IT Security
  • Identify and anticipate future regulatory requirements and their implications
  • Considered to be a subject matter expert for IT and IT security within the business
  • Proactive assessment and analysis of IT risks, development and oversight of effective risk mitigation plans
  • Able to draw upon strong influencing and negotiation skills in order to manage senior stakeholders' needs and expectations
  • Striving for continuous improvement of existing processes and practices
  • Eagerness to be part of a team that drives innovation in the financial services industry and personal motivation to approach and explore new technologies and trends
  • Use external networks within industry or profession to understand the external landscape
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly, accurately and concisely in meetings and presentations, to colleagues at all levels
  • Fluency in spoken and written business level German and English
