Development Manager / Project Leader (m/f/d) – Medical Lasers (Fiber and Diode Lasers)
at our location in Brühler Str. 30, Bonn, to start as soon as possible.
- Lead the project development and implementation of projects in the field of medical lasers
- Design optical, mechanical, and electronic systems
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to series production
- Integrate diverse technologies and disciplines into the development process
- Conduct performance testing at module and system level and document results in compliance with applicable standards
- Manage the transfer of new products from development to production
- Create and maintain technical documentation and provide regular project status reports
- Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Laser Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the development and manufacturing of lasers and fiber-based components – ideally in fiber and solid-state laser technologies
- In-depth understanding of laser physics, optical components, and thermal management
- Practical experience with optical simulation tools and electronic control systems
- Several years of experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Familiarity with complex systems and technological integration
- Experience in developing and integrating diverse technological components
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
