  • Support in the refinement of requirements and acceptance criteria and effort estimations
  • Analyse test basis, create detailed and well-structured test cases, prepare test data and execute tests in accordance with the test plan following test framework standards
  • Understand project requirements in collaboration with the stakeholders and feature team members
  • Identify prerequisites, ensure requirement traceability and coverage
  • Report defects including clear and reproducible steps, support defect triage, retest fixes and contribute to defect management
  • Develop, execute, maintain, and document manual and automated regression test suites
  • Contribute to retrospectives and lessons learnt with expert knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, in IT or the related sector for several years
  • Familiarity with different testing techniques, ISTQB foundation level is a plus
  • Proven experience in functional testing (additional experience in operational acceptance testing, support of non-functional testing, test automation is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of software test methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems and different project environments, driven by different methodologies, e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Confluence, Jira and relevant plug-ins, e.g. Xray
  • Fluency in English (additionally Dutch and/or German is a strong plus)
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus, from product features to key processes and main IT systems and suppliers
