That is why we are looking for:- Support clinical research, external science, and innovation decision-making through robust commercial assessments
- Act as the commercial counterpart to the Scientific New Products Team in all pre-commercial new asset processes
- Co-lead the prelaunch preparation phase for selected assets transitioning into commercialization
- Drive the development of early commercial strategies for selected assets and support global opportunity maximization for Dr. Falk
- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Global Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Development, and External Innovation
- Support the Business Development and Partnering team in commercial out-licensing activities
Main Responsibilities:
- Screen and assess business opportunities from a holistic commercial perspective
- Evaluate commercial potential, develop business cases, and provide strategic input into go/no-go decisions in cooperation with selected functions
- Lead the definition of commercial strategy for selected pre-commercial assets
- Develop early go-to-market strategies aligned with stakeholder expectations and commercial goals
- Contribute commercial insights into product profiles, lifecycle planning, and early clinical development
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrated and actionable commercial input
- Prepare and present commercial recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees
- 6+ years of experience in Marketing, New Products, Business Development, or related commercial roles in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and business case development skills
- Demonstrated experience in early asset shaping and/or go-to-market planning
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Knowledge or experience in Gastroenterology/Hepatology is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; comfort presenting to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or medical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in English required; German or another European language is beneficial
