In this role, you will be joining the Head office finance department, overseeing operations across branches and market territories in Europe to reinforce the Regulatory reporting team.


  • Collaborate within the wider finance and actuarial teams to prepare mandatory Solvency II regulatory reports (quarterly and annual QRTs, SFCR, RSR), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for submission to the German supervisory authority (BaFin)
  • Steer and co-operate to improve existing processes and controls, to enable timely submission of the Solvency II regulatory reports
  • Take ownership of understanding the transition from local GAAP and IFRS to the Solvency II market value balance sheet
  • Liaise with international branches to gather, validate, and consolidate input data related to receivables aging related to receivables aging for best estimate liability calculations
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of data inputs received from cross-functional teams including actuarial, accounting, treasury, and branch finance
  • Review components of the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) calculation and support the development of validation controls to ensure robust and consistent outputs
  • Contribute to the documentation of Solvency II-related processes and methodologies, aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations
  • Assist with reconciliation to support the consolidated reporting at group level, ensuring transparency and audit readiness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in the context of regulatory reporting, cross-functional coordination, and digitalization

  • University degree in a relevant field, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, reporting, or regulatory finance, ideally within an international (re)insurance company or a similar group environment
  • Good understanding of Solvency II framework and regulatory requirements is preferable
  • Keen to learn and grow across the full spectrum of finance functions within a group setting
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to solving complex and evolving problems with clarity and structure
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, enjoying taking ownership, exploring creative ways of problem solving and driving things forward with initiative and curiosity
  • Well-organized, level-headed, resourceful and capable of delivering high-quality work even during times of limited resources and time
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; German skills are a strong plus and highly appreciated, especially in the context of regulatory interaction
