For our upcoming launches in the field of cellular therapy, we are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Global Market Access Manager to join our team and contribute to our global access product strategy initiatives. The Global Market Access Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of market access strategies, including evidence collection as well as incorporation of market access relevant elements into the clinical development program and the development of pricing strategies and launch sequences for the new products.

At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Market Access Manager (m/f/d).

The role will require deep understanding and appreciation of the relevant access routes, pricing, reimbursement mechanisms as well as a sound scientific, technical, regulatory, and commercial expertise to support reimbursement efforts globally.


  • Develop a strategy and an engagement plan for medac's upcoming innovative launches
  • Gather and analyse information on competitor products, pricing strategies, market positioning, and market access tactics to inform the market access strategy
  • Provide strategic input into key clinical and medical activities
  • Participate in due diligence to critically assess product concepts in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders
  • Track, collect and synthesise health economic data, outcomes research, and real-world evidence
  • Compile the early and in-market global access and pricing strategy and sequence for approval by senior leadership
  • Ensure adaptation of global value dossier and health economic evidence to meet the HTA requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Develop and update market access input into the lifecycle product strategy
  • Assist country affiliates in their reimbursement negotiations by integrating country-specific needs into pricing and a HEOR strategy, and by preparing other relevant information such as training on materials and pricing and negotiation workshops

  • Academic degree in health economics, eco­nomics or natural sciences
  • Several years of pro­fessional expe­rience in a market access consultancy or market access role in the pharma­ceutical industry
  • Experience and proven track record in managing, creating, submit­ting, and defen­ding dossier pro­jects and health eco­nomic evidence towards HTA agencies
  • Thorough understanding of health economic models and evidence
  • Solid expertise in at least one of the "Big 5" European markets (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain) is highly desirable
  • Intercultural competence, excel­lent skills in Eng­lish and German, and superb project manage­ment skills
  • Strong execution focus, with a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to think creatively ("outside the box") and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Team player, openness, and ability to work in a matrix
