For our global R&D team we are looking for a Design/Development Engineer (m/f/d) for high speed bearings with immediate effect.
- You will be part of the global C&U R&D team with focus on machines tools and bearing applications
- According to customers requirements formulation product specifications and methods
- You are also responsible for the design
- You will be mainly responsible for creating design guidelines and support the knowledge management on high precision bearings inside C&U R&D
- Planning and implementation of product research and development in this field
- Analysis and application of product patents
- Implementation of product technical training courses
- Bachelor/Master Degree or higher (mechanical engineering, machine tool engineering, or related technical disciplines eg. automobile)
- Profund experience on bearing design with specialization on machine tools or high speed bearings
- Multiple years experience in high precision, high speed spindle applications preferably
- Strong mechanical design skills, including experience in tribology
- Experience on high precision/ machine tool bearing manufacturing and testing process would be a plus
- Experience on CAD design tools
- Must be proficient with the MS office package
- Must have personality traits that include integrity, tenacity, perseverance, empathy and a can-do, positive attitude
- Solid communication skills (both written/verbal) in English, preferably ability to speak also in German or Chinese
