As our Senior Business Development Manager (f/m/d), you will drive the business development activities for our key clients, as well as overseeing our entire client engagement process from initial contact to post-engagement relationship management. You will drive the end-to-end client experience throughout the process working with and enabling our practice teams to identify client needs, shape new engagements, successfully deliver their engagements, and establish a solid and long-term client relationship. You will be involved with senior stakeholders across the organization who are accountable for delivering E.ON's ambitious digital transformation programs, to empower us on our way towards a digital-first energy company.


  • Account Development: Work closely with our teams to understand client needs and challenges, helping to establish and guide strategic account management and proposal development
  • Client Relationship Management: Design, establish and maintain a unified approach to engaging with key clients, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience
  • Opportunity & Pipeline Management: Design and manage processes needed to track projects from inception to completion, including the implementation of supporting KPIs
  • Service Portfolio Evolution: Continually enhance our offerings, crafting a differentiating and compelling portfolio that meets client needs and creates competitive advantage
  • Marketing and Communications: Shape the perception of Expert Services as partner of choice by defining clear positioning strategy and set the direction for client-focused marketing and communication activities

  • Proven successes in developing strategic plans and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Proficient in overseeing projects from inception to completion, with a keen ability to analyze and optimize service offerings
  • Experienced in crafting and leading effective marketing strategies and communications to elevate brand and value perception
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering collaborative environments to achieve business goals
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the consulting industry with minimum 2 years in marketing, business development or client relationship management roles
  • Ability to work within an international organization and you are fluent in German and English
