Android Platform Product Owner (f/m/x)

You will be the product owner of a substantive part of the Android Platform used for current and future vehicles. You will be a key player in delivering a stable baseline Android software stack to end products and all functional feature developers. As such you will be a key player as part of a strong platform software leadership team in the SW development and delivery for current and future vehicles using Android based infotainment systems.
What awaits you?
- You lead multiple teams and ensure the delivery of a consistent Android platform product in quality towards the customer feature teams that will build on top great customer features.
- You shape and iterate the agile work model with your teams in close collaboration with your "customers" to implement state-of-the-art platform features.
- Together with the SW architecture practice you ensure the implementation and integration of innovative concepts and technologies into the SW stack.
- You will lead and consolidate the different requirements from internal and external stakeholders into the overall project backlog.
- You are part of a great leadership team and work continuously on the improvement of the system/setup/environment to further empower our developer community to ship great products.
What should you bring along?
- Multiple years of experience and track records in leading and delivering software projects, ideally in consumer electronics as well as in in-vehicle infotainment.
- Deep technical background in software engineering, ideally proven experience in software development.
- Direct experience of building Android based devices (mobile, automotive or any other vertical) is a bonus.
- Experience in collaboration with outside stakeholders (such as Google) is a bonus.
- Passion for customer-centric product development, understanding and leveraging digital eco-systems.
- Experiences in applying and iterating modern SW development practices and methods.
- Excellent English communication skills.
