Right now, we are looking for our new HSE Manager for our facility in Ostfriesland. Here you will play a key role in further building up and maintaining our HSE function at the factory. Your main key objective will be to promote a zero-accident and environmental-friendly culture. You will be responsible for driving all HSE activities within the factory and you will report directly to our Factory Manager BTO, Ralf Kelling.

In this position, you will be a vital part of our organization in Ostfriesland and an integrated part of our Global HSE Community.


Your main role will be to support our site in Germany with HSE expertise. Your key activities will include:

  • Identify HSE-related legal requirements for BTO and facilitate compliance at factory site.
  • Facilitate and drive the risk assessment process at the factory.
  • Facilitate the establishment and follow up of HSE targets at the factory.
  • Ensure HSE reporting on time and in accordance with Baettr principles.
  • Be part of the Baettr HSE Community and ensure knowledge sharing with colleagues in other Baettr factories.
  • Ensure that all HSE-related permits and licenses required for the activity at the factory are obtained on time.
  • Facilitate and drive HSE-related training
  • Facilitate building up and maintenance of the safety organization and an emergency response plan at factory.
  • Ensure correct management of chemicals, high hazards and waste disposal.
  • Conduct safety walks.
  • Supporting activities for Baettr's sustainability drive.

  • Bachelor/Master's in engineering with 2-3 years' experience working with HSE.
  • Experience working with change management.
  • Customer focused with good cooperation and communication skills
  • Solid IT skills
  • Excellent German and English skills
