- Designs NORMA Group drawings (e.g. quotation and manufacturing), the creation and tracking of part numbers, the product verification and validation process
- Establishes the D-FMEA (Software: Apis)
- Defines customer-owned interfacing components (e.g. flanges, spigots, gaskets etc.)
- Initiates and drives Global Excellence and VA/VE activities (cost saving, efficiency improvement)
- Identifies, communicates and leads innovation projects.
- Testing and calculation regarding technical competitor analysis (e.g.: benchmarking)
- Develops and maintains the design guidelines, as well as carrying out product trainings
- Accountable for processing customer inquiries / projects (daily business)
- Successfully completed studies as Bachelor / Dipl. Ing. / Master in mechanical engineering
- Several years of experience in relevant and comparable function with focus on product design
- Experienced in leading projects from customer request till series production with regard to product development
- Very good English knowledge written and spoken; German is an advantage
- Able to establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
- Proficient in designing efficient processes / products
- Motivated teamplayer with can-do attitude and ability to identify new opportunities
- Experienced in creating and reviewing internal and external standards (e.g. DIN)
