As an Associate Principal Scientist - Antiinfective Research in our Drug Discovery department, you will play a pivotal role in our research and development initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate innovative concepts and technologies for the treatment and / or prevention of bacterial or viral infections in animals
- Plan and lead microbiological in vitro and in vivo programs
- Lead, develop, and motivate colleagues in drug discovery projects
- Lead scientific discussions in a global R&D organization
PhD in life sciences or veterinary medicine (biology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacology) with a track-record in microbiology.
Your profile
- Experience in the field of microbiology
- Experience in pharmacology preferred
- 2-3 years in drug discovery and / or pharmaceutical research
- International post-doctoral experience preferred
- Track record on scientific publications and presentations
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Good command of German
- Effective time management, organizational and problem solving skills
- High sense of accountability / urgency; ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a changing environment
