  • Conceptualization, design, and specification of a software-based safety system
  • Performing of functional and technical analysis within a SysML model
  • Collaboration with other areas of the team within a SysML model, analysis of existing solutions and definition of new ones
  • Execution of impact analyses, software FMEAs, and verification of systems for compliance with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) requirements
  • Technical leadership of external teams that create software for safety-relevant E/E/PE systems
  • Support during the commissioning of the MULTI safety system in the Rottweil test tower
  • Assistance with the certification of the MULTI safety system

  • Degree in Engineering e.g. software, computer science, mechatronics
  • Good knowledge of C/C++
  • At least 3 years of complex project working experience in automation technology desirable.
  • Certified Functional Safety Engineer (FSE) desirable
  • System Engineering Professional (ASEP) desirable
  • SysML (OCSMP Model Builder Fundamental) desirable
  • Project management training accomplished.
  • Self-driven, conscientious and very structured mode of work
  • High ability to cope with pressure.
  • Excellent team skills

  • English >= B2
