At OncoRay – National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology, about 80 researchers are working together daily in cross-disciplinary programs to develop innovative techniques for cancer treatment by means of biologically individualised and technically optimised radiotherapy. Through the close integration of Modern biology, physics, medicine and information science, OncoRay addresses the practical need for preclinical and clinical translational research in radiation oncology. Furthermore, tomorrow-s international research talents are being educated in the modular teaching program of the OncoRay Postgraduate School.
The research group “Molecular and Cellular Radiobiology- at OncoRay (head: Prof. Nils Cordes) is seeking for a highly motivated and technically skilled
Postdoc (f/m/x)
in full time, limited to 24 months. The salary is according to the TV-L dispositions.
- in vivo work with orthotopic glioblastoma models
- cell culture work with established and primary glioblastoma cell models
- bioinformatics for analysis of omics data sets
- cell and molecular biology techniques
- PhD degree in Biochemistry or Biology
- advanced experience in animal work
- advanced experience with bioinformatics
- implementing your own ideas and working in an innovative interdisciplinary team
- arranging for flexible working hours to find a balance between work and family life
- using our internal prevention program including courses and fitness in our Carus Vital health Center
- taking part in job-oriented educational course in our Carus Akademie
