Project Manager in Corporate Development and Transformation (m/f/d)

full-time and unlimited for our European headquarters in Düsseldorf.

About the role

  • As a project manager in corporate development and transformation, you will be responsible for managing and executing high-impact, strategic projects that support the growth and transformation of our company on a global and regional scale.
  • You will work closely with executive leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver results on time, on quality and within budget.
  • You will also contribute to the development and improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • As a project manager in corporate development and transformation, you will be part of the European-wide strategic planning process.

  • Manage execution of strategic, cross-functional and regional/global (innovation-) projects, exercising organizational, leadership and management skills to successfully deliver of projects.
  • Lead and facilitate project teams in defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget and schedule.
    Lead and facilitate project teams in implementing and applying standard processes for risk management, issue management, quality assurance and project communications.
  • Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including overall status, time, budget and quality for projects.
  • Manage oversight of project level financial management, including managing to the achievement of the business case.
  • Apply structured Change Management methods to projects and lead change management activities, including stakeholder assessment, communication, training/ coaching, and resistance management.
  • Facilitate and contribute to the continuous improvement of a standard project management methodology including, but not limited to, project execution, approval, reporting and change management.
  • Drive strategy development activities and implementation together with senior leadership including development of workshops and market research.
  • Prepare evaluations and guide senior leadership through decision-making processes.

  • smart? You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in science and engineering fields or Business Administration. You have 3+ years of experience in a mix of consulting/industry roles. A project manager certification, such as Prince2, is also highly desirable but not required.

  • driven? Standing still is a foreign word for you. Your high level of self-motivation drives you and you have demonstrated leadership skills as well as the ability in guiding indirect reports to effectively accomplish performance goals in project organizations. You have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments while meeting deadlines and demanding quality execution within group reporting requirements.

  • real? You have strong interpersonal communication skills as well as good presentation skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals. You work in a highly structured and analytical way. Very good German and English language skills are mandatory as well as advanced Excel and PPT skills.
