We are currently looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team at UPM Raflatac in Kaltenkirchen, Germany.

  • Managing supplier claims, liaising with sourcing as necessary, addressing customer claims with technical judgment, and ensuring timely responses to both internal and external claims
  • Planning corrective actions in cooperation with the Quality Department and other departments to prevent recurrence of problems
  • Transmission of information from the market supported by data analysis/complaint trend analysis within the company to achieve joint corrective actions
  • Quality and material development support in cooperation with the Quality team
  • Ability to identify problems and resolve them, if necessary, also during a visit of affected parties
  • Liaising with other corporate units regarding quality issues: Business, Sales, Sourcing, Product Development
  • Development of own work: minimize claim handling time and improve the quality of answers to increase customer satisfaction

  • You have a technical university degree or experience of working on quality projects. Previous experience in quality projects and the converting or printing industry experience is considered a benefit
  • You have excellent knowledge of the English and German language
  • You have analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • You are able to gather information from various sources while maintaining focus
  • You have strong MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with the following systems is advantageous: SAP, Oracle Business Intelligence, Production data acquisition (PDA, BDE) systems
  • You have strong team working capability, a result-driven approach, adeptness in diverse environments, customer and sales orientation, understanding of time pressures in a production environment, effective prioritization and organizational skills (time management) and a growth mindset
