The department is responsible for the areas of accounting, reporting, design and management for the financial reporting processes, as well as the accounting system of Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH (DTFS). In addition, we act as a contact for internal departments of DTFS GmbH as well as its subsidiaries and the central departments of Daimler Truck AG. For this exciting and challenging area, we are looking for an In-house Consultant for Accounting/ Financial Reporting Processes(f/m/x).
As an In-house Business Consultant, you will be responsible for the development and support of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services Group (DTFS). This also includes the proper integration into the system and process landscape of the local DTFS companies, as well as the integration into the Daimler Truck Group.
These challenges await you:
- Support in the development of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group.
- Customizing of Asset Accounting module in SAP
- Governance of Asset Accounting processes of our company
- Definition and Governance of our roles authorization
- Ensure the stabilization and the daily business operations of the already live markets especially for Charterway GmbH
- Analysis and description of the requirements of local transactional accounting processes taking into account local accounting standards as well as the accounting processes for leasing and financing in the local companies
- Coordination of local process requirements and interfaces in cooperation with IT
- Support of continuous development to make processes more efficient
- Efficient introduction of new requirements from internal regulations of standard setters and regulators
- Support in the upgrade to S/4HANA for the Asset accounting part
THAT'S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH
Studies/training:
- Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting/controlling, completed degree in business informatics or comparable degree program
Experience:
- Several years of professional experience in the fields of accounting and controlling
- Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP certification)
- Experience with project work in an international environment
- Experience in the area of method, process and system design for accounting and controlling-relevant business processes
- Experience or knowledge in the financing and/or leasing environment, especially for DTFS
Language skills:
- Business fluent in German and English
IT skills:
- Very good knowledge of SAP AA (incl. customizing)
- Very good knowledge in the authorization management
Personal competences:
- Strong analytical, interdisciplinary and integrative thinking and acting in an international environment
- Interest in project work and knowledge of project management
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a target group-orientated manner
- Intercultural competence and teamwork
