Kipu Quantum is a VC-backed quantum computing startup with offices in Karlsruhe and Berlin. We develop proprietary enterprise software solutions for corporate users in finance & insurance, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and logistics. Our breakthrough technology gives quantum computers, a nascent technology the potential to solve intractable computational problems five years earlier than competing approaches.

As a Senior Consultant (m/f/d), you will closely collaborate with clients and customers from different industries, Kipu partners and internal teams. Your goal is delivering innovative solutions for their specific demands. Your insights and guidance will shape the development and implementation of quantum computing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.

  • Provide strategic consulting services to clients across various industries, helping them understand the potential of Kipu's quantum computing technology and how it can drive value for their organizations
  • Lead engagements to assess client needs, identify opportunities, and develop tailored quantum computing solutions that address specific business challenges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute quantum computing projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and timelines
  • Act as a subject matter expert, both internally and externally, by delivering presentations and participating in industry events to promote awareness in quantum computing
  • Promote best practices in project and customer management, fostering efficient and effective project delivery
  • Close cooperation with internal teams such as C-Suite, R&D, Software Development & Business Development
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to their professional development through knowledge sharing and skills training

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in physics, computer science, engineering, or related field with a focus on quantum computing
  • Proven experience in quantum computing research, development, or consulting, preferably in a start-up or technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Python programming for algorithm development and simulation
  • Experience with quantum computing frameworks (Pennylane, Qiskit, Braket, etc.) would be a big plus
  • Excellent project management skills, experience with agile project frameworks will be a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions to challenging problems
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional (remote) teams and managing client relationships
