Teamleader Accounting (m/f/d)


  • Management of the general ledger team with currently 4 employees at our headquarters in Viernheim
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for various companies in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
  • Determination and documentation of provisions and accruals
  • Determination and documentation of inventory accounts, receivables and payables
  • Booking and maintenance of fixed assets, loans and leasing contracts
  • Reconciling, analysis and evaluation of balance sheet accounts in the context of account reconciliation
  • Reporting of results for the period to the parent company
  • Executing, analysing and documenting closing postings in accordance with the Internal Controls guidelines
  • Integration of new companies into existing financial statements
  • Participation in cross-departmental optimisation projects

  • Business studies with a focus on accounting / CPA or training as an accountant with additional qualification as an international accountant IHK
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting with an international focus
  • Experience in an auditing firm is an advantage
  • Several years of management experience are an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting and tax law
  • Experience in the preparation of balance sheets in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
  • Experience in working with ERP/reporting systems
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially good Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • High level of initiative and affinity for numbers
