Our Internal Controls team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Developing and maintaining group wide Internal Controls requirements and tools
  • Supporting and advising the Uniper financial and commercial functions on a risk-oriented basis in designing, documenting, implementing and maintaining Internal Controls in relevant processes to ensure the design of an effective and efficient Internal Control System
  • Regular communication and information on Internal Controls activities, e.g. to ensure transparency of Internal Controls topics on various Uniper levels and for the Board of Management or Audit and Risk Committee of the Supervisory Board
  • Providing Internal Control System trainings within the Uniper business, e.g. with regard to Basic and Specific Internal Controls Requirements
  • Managing the Internal Control System Sign-off process by involving the Uniper functions
  • Maintaining and enhancing the documentation of controls within the central IT Tool
  • Supporting Internal and External Audit activities regarding the Internal Control System, e.g. in connection with financial year-end audits

  • University degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance, Business Engineering or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in the Internal Controls, Risk Management or Process Management area or as an (internal or external) auditor
  • Understanding, improving and developing Processes as well as Internal Control Systems primarily regarding financial and commercial processes
  • Understanding of the key business value drivers and risks within Uniper
  • Analytical skills & mindset
  • Team player with demonstrated experience of working in an international team
  • Communication and strong English and German language skills
  • High level of integrity and reliability
  • Open and prepared to challenge others views
  • International experience desirable
