All about the role
As part of the country sales management team, you will be responsible for managing the Inside Sales/SDR Department for Germany with the aim of monitoring KPIs and achieving/surpassing sales targets. Your strong leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding our overall business direction, while also improving scalability and productivity within your teams. In addition the following activities are part of your area of responsibility:

  • Leading strategic direction for the inside sales department,, overseeing 4 Team Leads, 33 representatives, and 3 apprentices.
  • Proactively coaching and empowering inside sales teams to adapt to emerging methodologies for sustained competitiveness and to foster their professional development.
  • Conducting annual target forecasts, establishing, monitoring, and achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Managing goal attainment through effective forecasting, performance management, and alignment with targets and KPIs.
  • Identifying growth opportunities within the inside sales function and implementing innovative sales strategies to capitalise on them.
  • Spearheading process optimization initiatives to streamline inside sales operations and enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrating exceptional stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams within the inside sales department.
  • Collaborating as stakeholder in global projects on management level
  • Analysing comprehensive inside sales data sets and presenting actionable insights to the senior management team.
  • Supporting the Senior Sales Management Team with various tactical and operational aspects related to sales/inside sales.

Can you deliver…

Here are the skills and experience we need from you:

  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years' experience in team leadership, preferably in FMCG, Leisure, or E-commerce.Sales
  • Target Management: A proven track in monitoring sales targets to drive revenue growth
  • Results-Oriented: Highly focused on achieving business outcomes and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Change Management: Proficient in guiding teams through organisational changes/improvements, and scaling efforts to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Possess an analytical mindset with strong skills in data analysis, enabling informed decision-making based on data insights.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficient in managing customer data, tracking leads, and optimising sales processes using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Sales Culture Understanding: Understanding of sales culture, particularly within the German market
  • Conflict Resolution: Skilled in addressing respectful conflicts and fostering a solution-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibly respond to changing priorities and environments, demonstrating resilience amidst challenges and seizing opportunities.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in both German and English facilitating effective communication with diverse teams/stakeholders.
