We are looking for a motivated and experienced Product Trainer Automation, Navigation & Control Systems (m/f/d) to support the team in Hamburg.


  • Develop Training Materials: Develop comprehensive training materials and resources for navigation products, including user manuals, guides, presentations, and multimedia content
  • Deliver Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to clients, distributors, and internal staff
  • Customize Training Programs: Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and requirements of different audiences
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to trainees during and after training sessions
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and materials, incorporating feedback
  • Certification Programs: Assist in the development of certification programs for clients and partners to validate proficiency in the use of ANCS navigation products
  • Stay Updated:Collaborate with product development teams to stay updated on new features, updates, and improvements to navigation products

  • Academic Degree, Master Craftsman Training or Engineering degree in a relevant field such as for example engineering, maritime studies etc. Also Technicians, Service Technicians or Field Service Engineers are fitting for this job
  • In-depth knowledge of navigation systems including Radar, Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), Track- & Speedpilot and other related technologies
  • Proven expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Proven experience in technical training, preferably in the maritime or navigation industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, including clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Fluent in English - verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in developing training materials using various tools and platforms
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 2 trips / year)
  • Motivated team player with a structured working approach
  • Interested in working in a international environment

We are looking for candidates with several years (5-10 or more) of experience as a Product Trainer Navigation (m/f/d) and also applicants, who have gained their first years of experience with these products and would like to work in this training area in the future.
