As a development engineer in our BMS System & Architecture team, you will play a key role in the development of our new high-voltage battery platform. We are looking forward to your reinforcement!

Our Team:

  • Our team is currently in the start-up phase and your highly motivated and friendly colleagues are looking forward to your support
  • As a team, we are responsible for the battery system functions and algorithms in the battery management system of the HV battery, from the concept phase through specification and implementation to integration and testing at system level
  • Communication at eye level as well as an open and respectful interaction with each other is important to us, internally and with our development partners
  • We work with state-of-the-art technologies and international project partners
  • You can expect a dynamic environment with a lot of creative freedom
  • We make regular use of mobile working

These challenges are coming your way:

  • You evaluate concepts, methods and technologies in terms of added value for product and customers, technical feasibility, timeline and costs
  • You design innovative cloud-based battery algorithms and the vehicle-cloud-framework
  • You develop cloud-based battery algorithms in collaboration with external partners
  • You develop concepts and methods for the development and validation of cloud-based battery algorithms
  • You create a technology roadmap for implementation in series development

Ideally, you qualify for this job with following qualifications:

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, mechatronics or comparable studies
  • Professional experience in the model-based development of battery algorithms with Matlab/Simulink or comparable tools, ideally for HV battery management systems in the automotive industry
  • Professional experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and cloud-based battery management
  • Knowledge of HV battery, in particular battery management system (BMS), cell and E/E components of the HV battery
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate in an international working environment
  • Business proficiency in German and English
