Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH is the European subsidiary of a Japanese Chemical Company which employs around 19.000 employees on a global basis. Within the Mitsui Chemicals Group, Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH oversees the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Our product portfolio includes - amongst others – Food & Packaging materials, Mobility (Automotive) materials and Healthcare materials.
For our Trading Business Division, we are looking for a
Sales & Technical Agrochemicals Specialist (male / female / diverse)
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans for the EMEA region to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective clients through various channels including networking events and social media platforms
- Manage sales to customers
- Visit customers and suppliers upon necessary needs, actual or new products introduction
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and report to Senior Manager
- Control EMEA market pricing in cooperation with Japan HQ
- Respond to any complaints related to product range
- Monitor activity (Forecasts, P&L, Reporting)
- Stay updated on advancements in sales and marketing technology tools and platforms and leverage them to streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase products/services and build brand awareness
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and utilize findings to inform sales and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition and differentiate MCE's products/services in the market
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams as well as with MCCLS HQ in Japan such as product development, customer service, and SDS/label etc., to ensure alignment and coherence in sales and marketing efforts
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to Senior Manager, highlighting key performance indicators, progress against goals, and actionable insights.
- Support Senior Manager regarding reporting, budgeting, Mid Term Plan and Monthly Business Meeting

You have a commercial education/experience related to the handling of import and export matters
- You have at least 3 years of experience related to the handling of export matters in Agrochemicals Business
- You have experience in Sales & Marketing
- You are highly motivated, and target driven and have a proven track record in sales
- You have excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- You work independently and in a structured manner with a high degree of service orientation
- You have strong analytical skills and think strategically
- You appreciate teamwork within and across departments
- You are willing to travel nationally and internationally
- You speak and write fluent English with a feeling for good communication at all levels
