  • Europe-wide coordination of tax issues with a focus on income taxes and transfer pricing.
  • Supporting the subsidiaries, in particular our future European headquarters in Germany, on tax issues.
  • Development of proposals for group-wide tax optimization, taking into account the constant changes in national and international tax law, and provide support with implementation both in Germany and abroad.
  • Maintain an overview of the different types of accounting (e.g. local GAAP vs IFRS) within the Group and develop proposals for Group-wide tax optimization
  • Act as a central point of contact for management from the subsidiaries to Japan
  • Managing the relationship as a single point of contact for our tax consulting firm and expand it as a uniform Europe-wide partner

  • A successful degree in business administration supplemented by a tax consultant exam or state law exam, ideally with a focus on corporate taxes
  • Several years of professional experience as a tax expert in an international tax consultancy/law firm or in a group company (e.g. Tax Compliance Officer)
  • You have a good understanding of processes and systems and have already proven that you can implement processes, systems and organizational procedures within a tax and / or internal framework
  • Act independently and proactively, quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Very good Excel and MS Word skills
  • You have very good German and good written and spoken English skills
