Due to our dynamic growth, we are currently looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d) to support our Controlling team in Munich. This senior role will ensure strong understanding, financial planning, analysis and reporting throughout the group, focused on a certain business unit, including overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment and providing strategic information and advice to the management team. Moreover this role will lead global initiatives to redesign, adapt processes, implement new tools and systems and drive digitalization.

  • You´ll oversee and support the preparation of the mid term plan and several forecasts and outlooks by the segment / business unit controllers
  • You´ll perform sanity checks of an integrated business plan for the respective segment/ business unit
  • You´ll do financial modeling and valuations, evaluate stress test scenarios, perform benchmarking with peers and analyze available external data for the respective segment / business unit
  • You´ll strive for data efficiency, implementation of automations, application of AI in daily processes and support implementation of Workday for the respective segment / business unit
  • You´ll update any financials in the global system Tagetik and support initiatives towards digitalization of processes within Finance and Controlling
  • You´ll analyze and understand actual financials, frame recommendations, provide inputs to business and be part of the overall Performance Management and Reporting process

  • Bachelor's degree as well as CFA, ACCA or similar is a plus
  • 5+ years' post qualification experience in a senior controlling role, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) or similar role with financial analysis experience in transaction services at a big 4, PE or investment banking
  • Strong financial, accounting, financial planning and analysis skills, ability to focus on what matters, to derive actions out of numbers, to abstract key messages and priorities
  • Experience in integrated financial planning (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) and flexible to work with ERP, BI large data
  • Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls as well as creative reporting capability and profound excel and PPT skills - modeling skills are a plus
  • Good communicator and team player with effective project management skills and the flexibility to take over new analysis and tasks
