  • Driving strategically important initiatives (planning, automation, optimization), working cross-functionally to identify key areas of opportunity.
  • Creating and iterating upon metrics to measure performance and identify defects and trends, delivering best-in-class quality, performance, productivity and cost.
  • Driving standardization of operational procedures; partnering with operations and technology partners to build repeatable and predictable structures in areas of ambiguity to increase consistency and reliability of operational performance.
  • Leading holistic operational excellence programs. Linking policies, standard operating procedures, internal controls, monitoring, and reporting with operational and compliance improvement.
  • Monitoring, anticipating and driving proactive change through deep expertise of trade topics; to include regulatory changes, evolving supply chain models, and innovative solutions to remove barriers.
  • Serving as subject matter expert and advocate for compliance across all Customs activity, working collaboratively with technology, product management, legal and other key stakeholder groups.
  • The Senior Manager must be a strong communicator, highly collaborative and work effectively across various organizational levels and geographies.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Leadership experience in large (50+ person) organizations
  • 7+ years of transportation management, customs brokerage, and origin consolidation experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the management of international supplier product flows into fulfillment/distribution networks.
  • 10+ years of process management experience

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA/MS in quantitative or supply chain-related discipline
  • Experience launching and scaling start-up organizations
  • Track record of working cross-functionally to drive large scale continuous improvement efforts
  • Strong analytical skills, working knowledge of forecasting, capacity planning and leveraging metrics
