E.ON Drive Infrastructure (EDRI) is a pan-European market leading charge point operator owned by the E.ON group. EDRI builds, owns, and operates public charging infrastructure for all types of electric vehicles. The company purpose is to build a sustainable world, by providing charging for everyone, everywhere. The team currently employs 120 people and operates more than 5,300 public charging points across 10 European countries: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Norway, Italy, Hungary and Romania. Together with location partners EDRI will expand its network by installing 1,000 additional high power charging points per year.
In our Data & IT Team, the Full Stack Application Developer assumes a vital role in developing and maintaining end-to-end solutions. Drawing upon expertise in frontend, middleware, and backend development, they contribute to the development of robust applications that enhance user experiences along with API integrations along multiple IT systems. This role involves close collaboration with team members specializing in various areas, ensuring the seamless integration of frontend, middleware, and backend components. Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies will be ideal. Able to work on various parts of a project, therefore, can work on end-to-end development.
Some examples of your daily tasks:
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Develop and maintain web-based applications (web services & UI), ensuring high performance, responsiveness and usability across multiple platforms.
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using Angular/React/Vue or similar TypeScript/JavaScript-based UI frameworks.
- Leverage your expertise in Java (Spring Boot/MVC), Node.js, Python, and JavaScript to build robust backend services.
- Work with SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
- Participate actively in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Embrace DevOps practices to automate deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and improve overall development efficiency.
- Leverage cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS to build scalable and resilient applications.
- Having some know-how of PHP, Laravel, Power Platform will be an add-on but it is not necessary.
- Collaborate closely with team members to share knowledge & mentor junior developers.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Data, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full stack (frontend-middleware-backend) application development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Agile development experience and a strong team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
- Strong English skills for clear and effective communication in a global context.
