For our site Diehl Aerospace GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Nuremberg, Rostock or Überlingen (next to Lake Constance) we are looking for:

Development Engineers (m/f/d) in the areas of Software, Hardware and Systems (full-time and part-time possible)


As a development engineer (m/f/d) in the field of software, hardware or systems you will work in an integrated team in close coordination with our national and international customers as well as with our internal specialist departments, such as design, testing and qualification.

In the field of software:

  • Development and verification of embedded software for all major aircraft manufacturers and for the aviation of tomorrow
  • Analysis of system requirements, creation of software requirements and concepts, implementation of software in C, and execution of hardware/software integration tests (Python)

In the field of hardware:

  • Design and development of innovative hardware products for aviation, e.g. control computers, sensors and displays for cockpit or cabin
  • Creation of technical documentation for our products

In the field of systems:

  • Development of device architectures and design solutions for safety-critical avionics systems
  • Requirements analysis, system design, requirements and design validation; system verification

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
  • First experiences with hardware-related software development, electronics development or system engineering
  • Curiosity, ability to work in a team and enjoy working independently
