With our START IN trainee programs, we prepare you for your future assignment at BASF from day one with challenging tasks, exciting projects and responsibility. During a period of 18 to 24 months, you will get to know the diverse People & Culture activities at BASF Coatings and become part of an international team. We see ourselves at People & Culture as an essential factor for the success of our business units.

  • Together with you, we will plan and define three to four rotations in which you will get to know both operational and strategic tasks in People & Culture.
  • You will be able to get involved in the entire process chain of People & Culture management, e.g., in the development of recruitment, employee development or People & Culture digitalization.
  • You will support the People & Culture units in advising executives at local, European, and global level.
  • In addition, you will receive independent responsibility for (partial) projects and actively work on strategic People & Culture topics. This will prepare you ideally for your target function, which we will also define together with you.
  • We will coordinate your starting date flexibly with you.

You don't bring everything? We don't mind! Instead, we are looking for convincing personalities.

  • master's degree in (business) psychology, economics with a focus on HR and organization, HR management or HR analytics
  • intercultural competence through past stays abroad in form of internships or semesters abroad
  • affinity for digitalization and IT
  • moderation experience as well as a great willingness to drive change
  • stong communication skills and high motivation to take on responsibility in an international environment
  • confidence in written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage
