Established by the Financial Stability Board in June 2014, the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) is a not-for-profit organization created to support the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). GLEIF manages a network of partners, the LEI issuing organizations, to provide trusted services and open, reliable data for unique legal entity identification worldwide. GLEIF services ensure the operational integrity of the Global LEI System and facilitate making the LEI a broad public good available on our website. As a result, the LEI remains the industry standard best suited to providing open and reliable data for unique legal entity identification management.

Position Summary
The Junior Intranet Administrator will support the GLEIF corporate, which includes providing Level 2 hands-on, hardware and software support to the GLEIF internal users, in line with GLEIF policies and procedures. The Junior Intranet Administrator will work closely with other team members in the IT Department. The individual will also be responsible for the quality, scope, effort, and timeliness of mentioned requests using the ticket system. We seek an individual with experience with end-user support and with the ambition and skill to work in a highly motivated team.


  • Onboarding of new staff members (Setting up devices, workstations, and profiles)
  • Provide direct technical support to internal end-users in a team, including remote support for transatlantic office
  • Setting up and configuring mobile devices for end-users
  • Support with the management and deployment of applications and security updates for (Mac/Windows) computers and mobile devices through MDM-Software (Filewave)
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues with MacOS, Windows10, iOS, this includes: Microsoft Office products, Communication Applications (Zoom, MobileIron), Audio/Video settings, adjusting/replacing cables, Network issues: LAN, WLAN, VPN, testing connectivity
  • Setup and move workstations and adjusting table heights around the office
  • Resolving printer issues, paper jams, replacing toner
  • Taking equipment to service provider for hardware replacement
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of configurations and procedures
  • Keeping and tracking inventory of IT equipment up to date
  • Work in compliance with all GLEIF and other relevant IT policies and processes, where applicable
  • Assist/stand in for colleagues if needed

  • Combined at least 2 years of experience as Level 1 and Level 2 Support
  • Experiences with
    1. providing support for macOS, Windows, and iOS
    2. Active Directory, Windows registry and Group Policies
    3. Microsoft Exchange Spam filters and email account configurations
    4. Software management systems
    5. Anti-Virus software
  • Understanding of basic networking (DNS, TCP, VPN, routing, …)
  • Knowledge with Unix based Operating Systems and commands
  • Fluent spoken and written English and ability to verbally describe how to use an application, system, etc.
  • Exceptional personal skills including social competency and teamwork skills
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Must be able to do some light lifting of IT equipment and workstations
  • Knowledge of security principles and best practices
  • University degree in Computer Science or similar preferred
  • ITIL certification a plus
